“Rachel is a godsend. Her personal experience, her compassion and her knowledge have helped me in moments of crisis. I feel that she "sees" me in a way that even my therapist doesn't and that ability to know me and meet me where I am at is exactly what a person (me) suffering from extreme betrayal trauma needs.”

“Rachael is compassionate, hears what I say, understands my feelings, and encourages me. I like her making list of my accomplishments then reading them back to me. This is powerful and encouraging. I was a nervous wreck from a traumatic marriage event. My first visit with Rachael was free just to see if we were a good match. This impressed me a lot. I have been meeting with her since May 2019.”

“I cannot begin to explain what a difference Rachael Stanley, BSN, RN has made for me in the 5 short weeks that she was my Transformative Nurse Coach!

The beginning of our time together came at a perfect time in my life. I was feeling out of sorts, overwhelmed and maybe a little cranky! I didn’t have a lot of time to figure out what I needed to pull myself out of this funk in order to move on. Yes, as a therapist I know how important this is, unfortunately I was procrastinating.

From my first phone call with Rachael to my last, I felt like she was able to help me to break life down into bite size pieces and my weekly goals were just enough for me to feel like I was doing something and moving forward. Rachael was able to give back to me what I had shared and was very reflective for me. Some of the things I thought were too big were actually much smaller once I had shared it. She asked the right questions in order to nudge me . . .and her summary emails helped to remind me during the week what I had committed to.

Even though it has only been a short time, I feel as if our coaching time was a good jump start to what I hope will continue as my own self-care. I look forward to being able to work with Rachael at a later time.

One group I would encourage Rachael to reach out to would be therapists! We tend to forget our own self-care and weekly coaching has been similar to filling my car up with gas. Rachael, I will be: forever grateful!”

“At the time I was referred to work with Rachael as a Nurse Coach, I had already made the decision to address my health issues of high blood pressure and being overweight. I had taken a few steps towards changing my lifestyle, but I was stuck and needed to figure out what to do next.

Rachael helped me to step away from the emotional feelings I had about my progress and create a sustainable plan. Together we explored options and modified my health plan multiple times until it was right for me.

I cannot speak enough about the support I received from Rachael. Rachael’s ability to partner with me was remarkable. Once we had a walking coaching call so that I would not miss my scheduled walking time. I walked in my neighborhood and Rachael walked in her neighborhood as we talked and it was awesome!!!

Rachael helped me to unlock my inner motivation and to understand that all progress matters!! Rachael knew just the right words to say and the right questions to ask to help me recalibrate, revamp and re-energize my journey toward a healthier lifestyle. Rachael is highly recommended!!!”

“Working with Rachael has been one of the most insightful experiences of self exploration that I have ever done. Her calm demeanor and excitement as a Nurse Coach is truly inspiring. I am so thankful to have met her as she helped me focus on my mental health and moving forward with my business. If you are looking for someone to change your mindset and unlock your full potential while becoming more engaged in your present moment, Rachael is it!”

“Rachael is absolutely fantastic. I have to admit I was a little bit worried going into the first session. I have some pretty serious stuff going on in my life - sexual addiction, relationship trauma, and a high stress job. My concerns were immediately put to rest. Rachael does a fantastic job of being present, no matter what difficult topics I bring up. She gives me exactly what I need - she asks powerful questions, shows amazing compassion for what I am experiencing, and encourages me to be the best version of me possible.

What stands out the most from our sessions together is Rachael's ability to pull out positive truths. I feel inspired and motivated, able to take on the world, after each and every session. I would enter the sessions feeling stuck and would leave feeling empowered. I would highly recommend Rachael to anyone facing challenges in their life, no matter if they are big challenges or small challenges. Rachael is an absolute delight.”

“Rachael Stanley has a kind and positive presence that will truly change your demeanor to one of a more peaceful and balanced person. Working with Rachael and practicing mindfulness with her brought comfort and a sense of belonging where I may have felt like I didn’t belong. Connecting with a beautiful being as Rachael and practicing mindfulness with her has brought me closer to my own internal spiritual being. I highly recommend Rachael as a Nurse Coach as she is knowledgeable, compassionate, and very calming to the soul.

Thank you with all my heart Rachael!”

“When I began working with Rachael, I felt like my life was spiraling out of control. Although I had some good habits, I was completely overwhelmed with works stress, relationship and family stress, and the mental workload that is typical for parents of young children. Rachael helped me find manageable ways to tackle much of that stress, small step by small step. She is warm, caring and encouraging, and I felt completely comfortable talking about very personal issues with her. In the weeks that I worked with Rachael, I was able to make some seemingly small changes that have had a profound effect on my mental health - I'm now meditating daily, exercising regularly after a long hiatus, and enjoying a better relationship with the people close to me. I've also made some major decisions in my career. I so highly recommend Rachael's coaching style to anyone looking to make life changes (both big and small), with the support of an intuitive, caring coach. Thank you, Rachael!”

“I was a stay at home mom that was having a serious lack of self care. I was making sure everybody else was taken care of and forgot to take care of myself. I learned that saying No is a form of self care and have been using it more than ever. LOL I also found and fell in love with meditation. It soothes my weary soul.

I liked how open Rachael was with me. She put me at ease even though I had never met her. She made me open up and tell her about my life. I looked forward to talking every week with her.

Like above I learned that No is a powerful word. I also enjoyed taking a hour to myself to talk to Rachael. I looked forward to it every week.

I have learned that I am likable even though it is easy to doubt that. I learned that I am stronger than I thought and I that it is perfectly okay to say I need down time.

I think my best friend would benefit. She needs to learn of the same things I did and I think Rachael would show her how to be calmer in her day to day life.”

“I started working with Rachael because I was looking for someone to hold me accountable for my goals and to help me work through the resistance that was keeping me from being successful. I was struggling to create and stick to a consistent self care routine for over-all health but more specifically to reduce an old knee injury from flaring up and preventing me from doing the activities I enjoy. I found that I would keep up with the exercises if I was in pain but once the pain was gone it was easy to get out of the habit until the next flare up. I knew the answer was consistency of exercises but it was easy to make excuses or put them off.

Rachael helped me get clear on exactly what I wanted and how I was going to execute my plan. We covered all the small details so excuses were minimized, obstacles removed or back up plans were ready. Rachael set me up for success then cheered me through each week, checking in to see if changes needed to be made or if new obstacles needed to be addressed and handled.

I would recommend Rachael to anyone ready to make change in their lives and need help putting a plan together or those who know what they want but need someone to help keep up the momentum. Rachael is passionate about her work and it is clear that she genuinely cares about helping her clients reach their health goals and find their happiest selves.”

“My sessions with Rachael are very helpful. I have many current stressors (both old and new) and welcomed the opportunity for some help managing them. In addition, I want to live the best life I possibly can (in the time I have left!). I find that the coaching structure with Rachael has brought many new insights and perspectives to consider. The stressors are still there, but coaching is very helpful with ways to prioritize and set goals to manage them so I do not feel so overwhelmed.

Rachael is very calm and empathetic. I feel she really hears me and understands my concerns. She made no judgments about me or my life, but always has some very concrete suggestions. Throughout each session, Rachael is very thorough in making sure she understands what I am saying and is a true partner in helping me live my best life. She absolutely does not tell me what to do!

I believe Rachael’s background as a registered nurse in the health field, her education and her personal spiritual journey uniquely qualify her in this field. She constantly participates in additional training and education to expand and sharpen her coaching skills. I definitely recommend Rachael as coach to help improve your life, as an adjunct to counseling, or to holistically address management of a medical challenge.”

“Rachael became my nurse coach shortly after having surgery on my arm for a work-related injury. I went from being very active to having a lot of restrictions on what I could do at home and at work. This was a challenging time for me and Rachael came into my life at the perfect time! She provided me with encouragement and support throughout the healing process and reminded me of the importance of taking things slow and letting my body heal. She helped me to set personalized goals that were achievable and together we created a plan on how I would accomplish them and how I would overcome obstacles that could arise.

Aside from helping me through the recovery process of surgery Rachael helped me in so many other ways! Using a holistic approach that addresses many different components of wellbeing she helped me overcome relationship problems, work related issues, and other general life struggles that came up during our time together.

Rachael encouraged me to be my most authentic self, and I truly felt like I could be that with her. I felt safe in the judgement free environment that she created and left each conversation feeling inspired. She asked me powerful questions that helped me to think outside of the box and see myself in a different way.

After our sessions I would receive a follow up email that summarized everything that we had discussed. This made feel special and I could tell that she listened to everything I was saying. It was also a great reference to have as a reminder of my goals.”

“Before coaching, I was dealing with a host of illnesses. Coaching has made me realize I can reach my goals and even surpass them. I can run farther than I thought I could and I’m doing self-care practices that I wasn’t doing before.

I had a very positive experience working with Rachael. What I liked most about our coaching relationship is that there was a give and take format where the conversation just flowed and no one was dominating the conversation. It was perfect.

Through this process, I’ve actually discovered that I have a lot of love for myself in a healthy way. By doing a lot more self-care during the coaching, I’ve realized how much I really do care for myself.

I would recommend coaching to anyone who wants to better their life.”
