What approach do you take with your coaching clients?

Each coaching journey is different because the work is deeply personal and tailored to your needs.

When coaching with me you’ll enjoy exercises that help you slow down and reconnect with your heart. I’ll ask reflective questions to help you gain new perspectives about your ingrained beliefs, life dreams, and truest values.

My clients are people from all faiths and backgrounds who appreciate alternative personal growth tools such as aromatherapy, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, oracle cards, journaling, and feeling grounded by the wisdom of nature.

Are you the right coach for me?

I may be a good fit for you if you’re someone who is realistic about the personal growth process. You understand that changing the results in your life requires new ways of thinking, being, and doing…you also understand that this journey requires personal responsibility and an open mind. You’re someone who has perhaps read many wonderful self-help books but seem to lose your way when it comes to implementing lasting change because the challenges in your life always find a way to the top of your list—distracting you from your own needs and goals.

Is coaching expensive?

First, let me ask you a couple of questions:

  • What is the cost of staying stuck in a rut that isn’t working?

  • If you added up what you have or will spend on quick-fix solutions—what does that amount to?

The fact is, yes…coaching is an investment. If you aren’t accustomed to investing in your personal growth, coaching may feel extravagant. But keep this in mind—coaching is not intended to be a longwinded, drawn-out experience. My goal is to be a set of ‘training wheels’ for a period of time while you adopt new ways of balancing your life. Eventually, you will feel stable and ready to move forward without me. Nothing would make me happier than knowing you’ll be fine without me by your side in the future.

Is now the right time for coaching? I'm just so busy.

Life is always going to be busy, that’s just the way it is. Coaching won’t feel like one more thing on your list. Rather, it will be time that you look forward to because you’ll leave each session feeling shifted, refreshed, and aligned. Coaching is great for busy people because it helps them face life’s challenges with confidence, passion, and inner-strength. In coaching there is a saying, “What you resist persists.” It’s time to stop resisting your deepest desires and waiting for the right time. Now is the time to give yourself the gift of meaningful life transformation.

Where do the coaching sessions happen?

Modern technology makes the coaching experience very convenient. We can meet either by telephone and Zoom—whichever you prefer. Coaching is just as effective via teleconference as in-person. Coaching remotely in this manner means you can enjoy coaching from the coziness of your favorite space—whether that’s at home or from the office.

I see that you work primarily with women. Tell me about that...

Actually, I work with people of all genders and identities—including people who are still in the process of figuring that out. Everyone has hopes, dreams, and aspirations to explore. The approach for coaching humans is always the same.

What's the difference between life coaching and therapy?

While both forms of self-help can provide the support needed to create powerful changes in your life, therapists typically work with people who are dealing with mental health conditions, substance abuse issues, and deep emotional trauma.

Coaches work with people who are basically healthy and functional but want to fulfill a higher potential. That being said, past issues often come up in coaching sessions and it’s often necessary to assess them in order to move forward. Previous chapters in your life can help you discover where some of your beliefs are coming from so you can decide if they are still serving you.

Coaching is the facilitated process of moving forward in life. While it can sometimes feel like therapy it’s important to remember that it is not. Therapy can complement coaching and if I feel it would be a beneficial option for you to explore, I will make that recommendation.

What results can I expect?

The results you’ll receive from coaching will be specific to your life and the variables in it. Your results will be in relation to the action you take.

Many of my clients find that coaching helps them do things like:

  • Spend more time with their kids or family

  • Develop healthier romantic relationships or friendships

  • Change career paths or start a business

  • Set better boundaries with family, friends, coworkers, or a boss

  • Travel and see the world

  • Develop a new hobby or pick up an old one again

  • Redefine themselves

In your coaching sessions we’ll explore where you are right now, where you want to be, and the steps needed to get there. I’ll ask powerful questions that cut through your overwhelm to reveal the insights needed to understand:

  • What is holding you back?

  • What motivates you to stay on track?

  • Why do you crave change now?

The answers to questions like these will help us identify the opportunities available to you and expand what’s possible in your life.

Can I ask you a few more questions?

Of course! It’s important that you feel a rapport and connection with the coach you decide to work with. I’d love to answer your questions and help you decide whether my coaching services are right for you. If I feel another coach would be a better fit, I’ll make a recommendation. I truly want the very best for you.
